Knitting Mouse | Beatrix Potter

I love discovering new drawings by Beatrix Potter that I've never seen before. This knitting mouse delights me. Signed lower right H.B.P. for Helen Beatrix Potter, her full name. via

Rosemary,
What is it about Beatrix Potter paintings. I dearly love every one I've always seen...this one is especially dear.

I have loved Beatrix Potter's art since I was a toddler. The tiny illustrations on the end papers of the Warne and Co copies of her books that my brother and I shared, fascinated me as much as the story illustrations.
Have you seen the book,' The Art of Beatrix Potter' by E. & L. Linder? It was a wonderful teaching resource for my primary school classes. Now I'm retired, it is still frequently off the shelf for me to browse through.

Hi,
This picture is such a wonderful find and I also love Beatrix Potter!
I was very pleased to find your blog through Pinterest because I discovered last year that Beatrix is a distant relation of mine... Before I found out officially after researching my family tree, my grandfather who was a tailor, often told me when I was little that we were related to her!
The Tailor of Gloucester was one of my favourite books.
Anyway, It was lovely to stop by your blog and follow. I see we have much in commmon! :-)
Warmest Wishes,
Jo.
