Dear Rosemary, I usually save your posts til before I go to bed, and very seldom comment. But they are all special and this on as well. While living in England we would walk on the foot paths through the farmers field, and often there were the lambs bouncing and bleeting and so much fun. Thanks for the reminder!

Awwww, so very sweet.
Reminds me of one winter long ago when my husband and I raised two orphan lambs from a neighbor's farm. He had no time for them so we took them in.
I made little sweaters for them and they spent their first few nights inside by the fire. They spent the rest of their long lives living peaceably with our adorable milking goats :)

This has nothing whatsoever to do with either the little boy or his lamb.

Just wanted to make a suggestion. If it's at all possible, can you move your profile up so that it is in the uppermost right hand corner? I hate seeing you under an ad.

There. I said it and I'm glad.

What a darling photograph. Images like this make me want to live on a farm.
