Pedestal Sinks in Vintage Inspired Bathrooms

I like them all, don't you? See these photos and a few more here. We've come a long way from those old metal medicine cabinets with the slot inside for the used razor blades over the sink, haven't we?

I been browsing bathrooms lately. I have two that need a lot of updating. I've already decided to do away with the 60's vanities. I am definitely doing pedestal sinks. Thanks for the inspiration. Bonnie

Aaaah. Love that last photo. Perfect use for a cork floor. I can just feel the warmth under my bare toes.

I like them all too. The contrast of the old photos in the first one, and the charcoal wall in the second are striking. I love the simplicity and waincoating in the last one.

What I love about pedestal sinks is their vintage appearance. The first image is my favorite.

Oh wow - the slot for the razor blades - what memories! I had forgotten all about those! We had one when I was growing up and my dad used it.
