I think these sheep are very wise to travel in the path made by a big vehicle instead of wasting calories forging a new one. Maybe it will take them closer to the barn filled with hay. via
We have these same scenes on our high country sheep stations where the animals are outside all year round - no barn reared animals in New Zealand! When snow is deep and grass unavailable the farmers 'feed-out' from their tractor.
