As a slave owning farmer he might be right, but as a nation, the government needs to have the power to put cash into the system even if it has to run a deficit doing so.

Complicated, partisan, and worrisome, the nation's debt surely is on all of our minds. That's why I especially turn to The Cottage these days for a bit of diversion. Thanks, Rosemary.
