More Book Stairs To Love

A fine set of stairs painted to look like books at a busy downtown parking garage. These were sponsored by The Greenville Literacy Association in Greenville, SC. Just wonderful. I used to live there. Any project that promotes literacy is a worthy one.

Be sure to click on the link above to see all the things they did in Greenville to promote their book sale. All of their clever and effective efforts resulted in the largest single-day book sale in the country. They raised $127,000 in 8 hours. Over 100,000 used books were donated. Keep clicking on the arrows to make sure you see all the photos. Enjoy - Rosemary

The stairs are so unique. They would look so cute in a smaller version going up into a childs room.

Rosemary,

What a delightful post this evening. All the many things that I love. Books, books and perfume.
I totally are in agreement with you... My valentine git. Hmmmmm. a bottle of perfume for $33, 000 or the most beautiful kitchen? Hands down the kitchen. And I am a terrible cook!!
Have a very Happy Valentine's Day! `maureen
