My Monogram "RB" . . .

You are in luck if your initials are RB. I bought a fabulous 19th century book at a small antiques show recently.

It has every imaginable combination of initials and a beautiful monogram for each. I love mine. It reminds me of the engraved initials on antique sterling silver hollowware.

Oh you lucky duck Rosemary! This is just exquisite - I'd be engraving anything that wasn't nailed down with this beauty.

I come back to this post over and over. The monogram is just beautiful. Might I trouble you for the name of the book? I'd love to look up my initials as well. It's just lovely. Thanks and have a great week!

i just found you and your blog and love it. I have just started my very first antique booth and LOVE it, something that I have wanted to do since I was in my early 20's.

I love the monogram. Could you possibly show what ST or TT would look like is a similar style? I would love to paint it on an old canvas for my hubby for Christmas....only if you have time.

Thanks in Alabama
Staci

Hi - I just came across your blog and LOVE this monogram. Do you happen to know what the name of the book is? I'd love to try and order it on Amazon.
Thanks!!!

Just saw this - not sure how I missed it after all the hours I've spent reading your fabulous blog. My dad's initials are RB too!

What is the name of the book you scanned?

Rosemary, I have created monograms over the years for 3 different weddings including my daughters last summer. I came across a book similar to what you describe and decided I would like to create them myself. They are time consuming but also an amazing keepsake. I would love to show you.
