Close-up of the tip of a Blue Spruce showing tiny cones.
A recent golden hour in the back woods.
This is how I found a suspended stray feather last week.
That's all. Short and sweet. Had a very busy day and now I'm headed to my bedroom to stream the Sunday night Masterpiece shows from PBS. Miss Scarlett and The Duke will be first. Then Magpie Murders and Annica if I can stay awake. xo

I have always loved the colors of blue spruces. We had them for many years and I miss them--maybe it's time to plant a few at our new location.
Rosemary, that photo of the feather (which looks like it's being held in place by a thin thread), along with that bright pink leaf is striking. Mother Nature at work, for sure!
Pam -- I love the colors of blue spruce trees too. You should definitely plant a few. I was excited about that feather Mother Nature left for me to find and photograph. That scene was definitely staged for me because the wind blew it (the feather) away shortly after I took the photo. xo, Rosemary
Isn't it amazing when you find a beautiful surprise like the lovely feather displayed with beautifully colored leaves as if those treasures were put there as a little surprise gift for you. I am happy that you shared nature's little surprise gift with us.
susie @ persimmon moon cottage -- Susie, I was thrilled with Mother Nature's composition waiting for me to capture it. Thanks for liking it too! xo, Rosemary
