No, this isn't the original kitchen sink.
It was purchased on Ebay.
The living room is perfection, isn't it?
The perfect cottage garden was created for this 17thC cottage.
This article in House & Garden UK is a fascinating read about the authentic restoration. I learned a lot too. New stone floors and new wood floors were made to look old by rubbing in layers of wood ash and linseed oil. I need to read the article again and see what other tips I can absorb. Enjoy.

A darling cottage♥
Oh golly, how sweet! Love the garden.
I’m sure they have moderate weather and abundant rain.
Lovely! Thanks Rosemary!
What a lovely cottage. I really enjoyed reading the article, too. It's impressive how committed the owners and their contractor were to find and use materials and styles that truly fit the home. I was sad to read that Pat passed away, but she certainly left her mark on her beautiful home.
Carrie @ Cottage Cozy -- Carrie, Glad you like it too. xo, Rosemary
Linda A. -- Linda, I hope that lovely garden survived the hot summer in all of England this summer. The Cotswolds is the perfect place for this cottage. xo, Rosemary
itztru -- You are most welcome. xo, Rosemary
Pam -- It's sad to hear Pat did not survive to enjoy the fruits of her labor but she was totally committed to the restoration project. She and her contractor found some amazing architectural salvage to outfit the cottage with period antique fixtures and furniture. I was so happy to find the article and share. xo, Rosemary
