My Baby Robin and A Pot of Corriander

I had a robin's nest with 5 baby robins under my balcony on top of one of the brick pillars.
This is the only fledgling who is keeping in touch. Don't you love those eyebrows?

I planted organic coriander seeds in this pot and am enjoying my harvest.

A larger view of the baby bird visit yesterday.
You can see more of him on my Instagram.

I'm 72 and never used coriander. Never. But, after seeing the picture of yours in that terra cotta planter. I'm tempted to plant some seeds just because it's such a pretty plant.

Gail...It is similar to flat-leaf Italian parsley only better. It's often called Chinese parsley. You can grind the seeds or save them for planting the following year. I hear it self-sows once a bed gets established. I have some growing in the ground too. Frequent cutting helps prevent bolting. I love the frilly leaves.

72 and still learning. Thanks for the information about it being similar to the flat leaf Italian parsley. Nervous Nellie is willing to try it now.

I love that you've continued to have visits from the bird babies, this fine fellow (I'm seeing boy bird with those
crazy eyebrows but it could well be a she) looks handsome and healthy. I think it loves you or at least your yard and birdbath.
