I want to peek inside and I know I'll love it. It's a forever cottage made of brick with a tile roof. It is a bed and breakfast in Georgetown, SC near Charleston called Mansfield Plantation.
What a precious house. If it weren't for the hanging moss, I would guess it to be in New England. I wonder what architectural clues I might be missing. It's snowing here but in a very kind way. Linda
Gosh, imagine my surprise to be reading about Mansfield via your link, click their History tab, and discover my own great great great great grandfather's name amongst the previous owners. Incredible internet, huh.
Thinking of you here at year end, Rosemary. With all you've endured, you still manage to be one of the last internet islands of civility with your blog. I thank you for all you give us.
With warmest wishes for you and your housemates at the Contented Cottage.
