I'm always suspicious of people with uncluttered desks. What is your like? via

Usually a tad cluttered, especially if I'm in the middle of several projects at once. I like to tell everyone, however, that only I know where everything is. ;-)
Mine at home stays pretty cluttered, so many projects on it. The one at work is half covered while working but it gets put away at the end of the day. Funny, everything has to be in its place at work, but at home I have piles.
My full to brimming studio and study desk usually show signs of 'work in progress' with art supplies and papers always at hand. My mind is forever ticking over and formulating. Occasionally, I have a good de-clutter where paperwork, books, art tools etc. are consigned to their places and all is clear... for a very short time though :) It is at these times when I allow myself to take a brief hiatus from the organised chaos, both internally and externally. But, my Muse won't let me sit back for too long before she presents me with a new idea or hounds me with a solution to a creative question.
As busy and sometimes frustrating as it can be, I love having a "cluttered mind". For amidst that clutter comes forth some amazing ideas and fabulous creations :)
Karen and humbird...It takes all kinds to make up this world. When I'm really busy I find I am neater than usual. For me, that a good thing. Have great weekends, you two. xo, Rosemary
The desk in my bedroom always is spit spot but it's just for visual effect. My other two desk's, a large basket that sits on the kitchen table and a large desk in my craft room are always a vision of chaos. I assure you though that I do know (kind of) what is on the desk and in the basket. I like this quote very much.

Angela, I can only work at home. The desks at work are way too small. I have piles everywhere but can always find what I'm looking for!!!

Uh oh, I must have a vacant mind...I don't deal with clutter very well.

Gail....I can always find things too. My mind is organized even if my desk is not.
