I saw this same image a few weeks ago(it's from somewhere in The Neterlands?) and..was almost going to feature it at my blog. :-)
I think the blue flowers are masses (a "river") of grape hyacinths.
What a wondrous thing to have planted in our gardens(and probably easy to do, too)!
