Lazy Day Cat

This was what I did all day today, with reading and movie watching thrown in for good measure. It was just that kind of day and I thoroughly enjoyed it too. There is absolutely nothing to watch tonight on TV, no Downton, no The Good Wife. I hope I have something good on my DVR and I'm sure I must, otherwise I'll read. Rain tonight and tomorrow. Enjoy your Sunday night. xo via

Great idea. It even has a window. via

Beautiful Frost Patterns on a Window

I loved photographing window frost at my former home with old single-pane windows in a few rooms. It's very cold today with a dusting of snow coming tomorrow. via This photo is from an old farm in the Champlain Valley of Vermont.

Fabulous UK Garden Shed

Just in time for Spring, only 21 days away.

Lovely Brick Cottage

I am always a fan of dwellings that have low maintenance exteriors and this one passes my test with flying colors. Isn't it charming? Stone foundation, brick exterior, stone-floored open porch, copper gutters, and natural landscaping. LOVE! via

Far From The Madding Crowd starring Carey Muliigan

Have you taken your lamb in a basket out for a carriage ride today? This is a screen capture I made while watching Far From The Madding Crowd on my iPad. It was wonderful and I enjoyed it so much. I love Carey Mulligan. This is a 2015 remake of an older movie starring Julie Christie, based on the book by Thomas Hardy.

If you are unable to watch the trailer above, click here. Carey Mulligan has a beautiful voice, doesn't she?
