Seaside Cottage Bedroom DIY Closets

Well, if this isn't the cutest little seaside cottage bedroom! I never even thought of adding closet space this way in my own cottage that is very short on hanging space for clothing. A window like this one over the bed is on my want list as well. I could have one so easily since my bed is on a north wall with no openings. I would schedule a carpenter today if only I could snap my fingers and make it disappear in the by October since my bedroom is on the chilly side in the winter already. This would be perfect in the summer though since I am a fresh air freak.

Wonderful Bedroom in Summer

I'd love to wake up here in the summer with the window open. My headboard is on a north wall with no window. I'd love to have a window there like this one in the summer but not in the winter. via

Courtyard Bedroom

Wouldn't you love to wake up in this bedroom behind the French doors? I would sleep with them wide open to enjoy the breeze and the fragrance of the plants. Tabitha wouldn't wake me up either because she could go in and out and in and out at will. I love the courtyard squares with the grass or moss or creeping something in between. via

This is lovely and very soothing. Very sleep inducing, isn't it? via Do you think there is a TV that pops up from that trunk at the foot of the bed? My guess is YES, so it's perfect for me! I can't go to sleep unless I watch TV first. I hope I can stay awake for Mad Men tonight. Sleep tight when you tuck in.

Gorgeous Bedroom

I think it's perfect in every respect, don't you? The headboard is beautiful and the chosen linens are wonderful on this bed. I'm quite sure the rest of the room is amazing too, just by looking at the windows. via

Red and White Checks

I am partial to blue and white but decided to give some equal time to red and white checks on a kitchen floor and on cabin beds.

I prefer black and white or gray and white on floors, but this looks nice for a change.

I usually prefer blue and white checks in a bedroom but I have to admit these bunk beds look wonderful in red and white. Sorry I don't have source links. I'll try to add them later.

Great Christmas Eve Bedroom

Hang your stocking from this fireplace and see if Santa came on Christmas morning without even getting out of bed. I have a rug just like this one in my kitchen in front of the sink. Love it. via

Almost Perfect Bedroom

I would add reading lights to the sides of the bookcases and would require a TV on the wall opposite the foot of the bed. Otherwise, it's perfect. Agreed? I'm up on the third floor paying bills and looking at saved photos. I think I must have already blogged this and I have no idea of the photo source. Those old boards with the great patina on the ceiling must have been old floorboards from the attic. I love the cozy size of the room. My own bedroom is about this size. I have bookcases and a television on the far wall. And a window on each side of the bed.

Interesting Summer Bedrooms

 

I'd love to sleep in each of these rooms at least once before deciding which one I liked better. I'm a fresh air freak and have to have an open window so that might be a deciding factor. The glassed-in bedroom looks as if it could be a hot box in the summer. I think I'd like to bed down in the first one and wake up in the second one. All things are possible in the virtual world.

My Bedroom of Choice for Tonight

It would be a nice place to bed down for tonight I think. I like the blue in the duvet cover but not the blue on the walls. The outside setting looks fabulous so I shan't complain. via
