Love it. Noticed the locks. Thought, I'd love to live in a place where you didn't need to worry about it. There is definitely a window over the sink. You are seeing the side of a cabinet but if you look above that (by the light fixture) you can see the window. Also, you can tell by the sunny light coming in. Love the kitchen in it's entirety! I am thinking of remodeling my kitchen but wonder what you would think of a center island that is 8 feet wide and 5 to 6 feet deep? As a realtor. Would a n island that large (in a very large room) be a deal breaker. No upper cabinets.Joanne Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01623855664379207620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-46707765740652234132013-10-10T11:31:21.591-04:002013-10-10T11:31:21.591-04:00I love Dutch doors. If someone really wants to get in there is no stopping them. I love the bi-fold shutter too.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-42133658111453925922013-10-10T11:08:32.707-04:002013-10-10T11:08:32.707-04:00It looks like there is a window over the sink but ...It looks like there is a window over the sink but maybe open to a covered patio or something?Recycled Cottage & Gardenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13209720538924091082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-36987541961850070112013-10-10T10:16:56.675-04:002013-10-10T10:16:56.675-04:00Rosemary, the temptation to leave the dutch door o...Rosemary, the temptation to leave the dutch door open to enjoy the outdoors, at least the top part, would be great. But if the door width is wider than the width of the work/cook area that it backs up on, I can't imagine having to dodge around the door to walk back and forth to the sink/window area. (There may actually be a window over the sink that is hard to see in the picture.) To me, it's just not a practical location for a dutch door. :-)JudyMachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04448320253904832677noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-70483365140241158712013-10-10T09:33:54.278-04:002013-10-10T09:33:54.278-04:00Yes!
