But for the person hoping they might be good when cooking vegan, they should check ingredients listed on packaging to see what is used to make the crusts hold together in these ready-made crusts. In my experience, most made-from-scratch recipes for crumb-type crusts call for melted butter for moistening the crumbs to hold together and molding in pie pan.
