With the help from neighbors and children I came home to only having to shovel off the front porch. The plows picked up and dumped the road snow onto our shoveled sidewalks. It's packed 5 1/2 feet tall on those sidewalks now. My sidewalk faces north so won't melt quickly, we're not shoveling it again, it would be backbreaking and take hours. <br /><br />Lovely photo by the way.
