Thank you my dear for a Rosemary shout out. We are slowly getting settled after a bit of a set back with hubby health issues. Just finished up a marathon deck, pergola, patio building project and a full on landscaping installation. Now the trick is to keep everything growing, water is the key in a desert state and so we are grateful for a full irrigation installation also.

Linda Sand, I think I lined up a few edges and since hanging this grouping I've moved a few up or down a wee bit to resolve that. A LOT of ladder climbing up and then climbing down followed by a walk up steps to the main floor to see how it actually looked. A side benefit, I was able to skip the gym that day. I attempted to lay it all out on the floor before hanging them up but after putting up the center back row I realized my plan wasn't going to work so I just winged it after that. It pulls you in (well, if we were lucky enough to be standing in the Queen's house), rather than looking cluttered and confusing. There's enough variety in frames to provide interest and enough similarity in type and size to give it a sense of unity. And not having them line up keeps you from following the imaginary grid lines. Instead, you're pulled into the pictures themselves. A wonderful decorating lesson. Thanks for sharing it, Victoria.jusaweecatnaphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12242239276015084838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-27089025323441042852017-05-23T14:29:42.261-04:002017-05-23T14:29:42.261-04:00to me, the important thing in a collection like th...to me, the important thing in a collection like this is to not line up the edges of any frames. Good job. Queen V.Linda Sandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12734450335251336493noreply@blogger.com
