Very depressing and watching the fallout is going to be heart breaking . . . I'm pretty upset with the whole thing. This couple deserved to be happy . . . heavens - what did they have - like five minutes of bliss? I feel like the story line was done for shock effect and little else . . .Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15594722639047596792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-76177121370202343002014-01-14T20:30:53.339-05:002014-01-14T20:30:53.339-05:00Love the photo; it has a magical quality. Not doing so well on laying off the sweets, alas.
As for DA, way too harsh. Highclere is such a jawdropping setting, the actors terrific, the costumes stunning, the cinematography great. It seems a waste of all this lavish charm and high end production quality to stoop to such soap-opera style sensationalism. So jarring after such an engaging story.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-25192536740074655452014-01-14T20:10:22.794-05:002014-01-14T20:10:22.794-05:00Karen...

We don't need that type of thing on DA.
RosemaryContent in a Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10075511188721176895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-50587159295957343602014-01-14T19:43:00.227-05:002014-01-14T19:43:00.227-05:00Love this gate. A friend said that when episode 2 aired in the UK that they got a flurry of calls from viewers saying they were going to stop watching the series due to the events. I do wish they had chosen another way to stir things up.
KarenKarenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08064699521293763744noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-73461356537625026422014-01-14T17:06:40.726-05:002014-01-14T17:06:40.726-05:00Well, it was a wet rainy day here, so it's bee...Well, it was a wet rainy day here, so it's been hard to think about getting back into the swing of things. I'm still taking down the Christmas decorations (embarrassed).

So glad Webster is all better, the wonder dog.

Cheers ... love the iron gate.

Karen in VA
Karen in VA (was CT)https://www.blogger.com/profile/10530127612439104603noreply@blogger.com
