Has the cartographer completely dismissed Powell's Bookstore in Portland??? Powell's is a successful independent bookstore. One of the few left. I support local bookstores. I think that the cartographer needs to view "You've Got Mail" once more. The Shop Around the Corner signified the independent book seller. While I have done my share of shopping on Amazon, B&N etc, I love the independents who actually read the titles they display.
