Fabulous Bathroom Vanity

Have you ever seen a better double vanity in a bathroom? I haven't. via my ideal home

Neglect In The Garden

I'm ashamed to say this is completely unstaged and accurately shows the condition of my garden. The weeds are winning and I don't even care. They are in the ground which is like concrete. I'm waiting for a rainy spell before I even consider trying to remedy the situation.

UFO and Thistles

I was out early this overcast morning and photographed a UFO coming in for a landing on a thistle. I don't think I should report it, do you?

Nice Gallery Wall

I could go with less stuff on the table but I like the arrangement underneath and on the walls. via

Wonderful Soapstone Sink

You know I love laundry rooms and I'm mad about this one with the soapstone sink. Isn't it clever the way the cabinets on either side are arranged. The deep one has a counter top that goes over the sink and the shallow one on the other side butts up to it. How charming!

So Simple, So Nice

The ottoman I would need was probably pushed out of sight for this simple, chic, perfect photo shoot. I can't read a book for any length of time unless my feet are propped up. I love this nook with the wonderful view, don't you?

Wiped Out Puppy

Poor little guy. He's so exhausted. Don't you love his puppiness? I looked it up and it's a real word in the Urban Dictionary: The feeling of unbearable joy brought on by the appearance of puppies. A fluffy, happy feeling of adorable joy from the undisputed masters of cuteness, puppies.

I hope this image gets your day off to a wonderful start or end depending on your time zone.

Karl Lagerfeld Liked Books Too

That looks like Karl Lagerfeld in the photo so I assume this is his quote. Love it! I too am the happy victim of books. via

The Logic Behind Midnight Snacks

I found this quote and it made me laugh. I played around with it and created this illustrated quote to make you smile too.

I like the black bookshelves in this room. The whole design just "works" so well, doesn't it? You know how much I love floor-to-ceiling bookcases. via

Miniature Art on the Tip of Pencils by Dalton Ghetti

Dalton Ghetti (a carpenter by trade) uses three basic tools to make his incredible creations – a razor blade, sewing needle and sculpting knife. He even refuses to use a magnifying glass and has never sold any of his work, only given it away to friends. He said: “I use the sewing needle to make holes or dig into the graphite. I scratch and create lines and turn the graphite around slowly in my hand” Click on the link to see many more photos of this Miniature Art on the Tip of Pencil by Dalton Ghetti
