Is Chris Isaak to Replace Simon Cowell on American Idol?

Is Chris Isaak American Idol’s New Simon Cowell?
Oh I do hope so. I love Chris Isaak. He has a great voice and he's funny too. He would be perfect and everyone would love him. Fingers crossed. Fellow crooner Harry Connick Jr. is also rumored to be in the running to replace Simon Cowell. Harry would be good but he and Ellen fight too much and that could be a big problem. I vote for Chris. A good way to describe Chris Isaak for those of you who don't know him, he's a cross between Elvis and Ricky Nelson.

Get to know him better. Watch and listen to 19 of his music videos here.

I'm A Woman Who Runs On Coffee

This certainly holds true for me.
"Behind every successful woman is a substantial amount of coffee."
I used yesterday's free font for the quotation marks. Like it?
I've had two large mugs of coffee this morning and I'm feeling powerful!

Beautiful Misty Morning

If you knew this scene would be awaiting you each morning outside your bedroom window, you'd probably never sleep late. Right?

Georgian House in New Jersey's Horse Country

In the Georgian Fashion A Family Builds a Horse Country Home That Savors the Past.

The homeowners wanted a house that looked as if it had been there for 150 years, but they didn’t want 150-year-old problems.

One and one make two. Right? Well, not necessarily. If you really work well with your interior designer, one and one make three. The architect and the designer both have their own thoughts, and they both bring their own intelligence to the project. If you can combine the two of them, there’s a bonus. The math makes perfect sense to me!

Tasha Tudor Loved Corgi Pups

Tasha Tudor would have loved this cute Corgi pup. Queen Elizabeth loves them too.

Tasha Tudor Estate | Family Feud Still In The Courts

Battling heirs of author/artist Tasha Tudor back in court: "BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - A family feud over the $2 million estate of famed children's book author Tasha Tudor raged on Friday, with a Probate Court judge warning that barring settlement, the only eventual winners may be the lawyers involved." Such a shame. Read my original post about the Tudor Family Feud.

The first photo is a scan of my very own copy of The Secret Garden illustrated by Tasha Tudor with the original dust jacket.

I love this charming image of hers called Cat in the Mixing Bowl.

Low Ceilings, Old home-No Problem

Dining room in an old home after ceiling beams were exposed to give more "height" to a room with low ceilings.

Looking through the dining room and into the kitchen.

Kitchen before.

Kitchen after. What a transformation!

The old timber cottage in the snow.

I honestly feel cooler just looking at this photo of an old cabin in the snow. I hope it's cooler at your house than it is at mine. Have a great fun weekend.
