Tasha Tudor Hanging Laundry (1940)

That's an awfully small basket. It must be for the clothes pins. Maybe she came out to take the laundry down. I adore hanging clothes out in the sun to dry. Have a wonderful Easter weekend. xo

Tasha Tudor House and Gardens

Tasha Tudor's son built the house by hand without the aid of power tools. She loved Corgis, painting, gardening, and an old-fashioned life. via

Can you imagine in your wildest dreams having a row of pink peonies like this? Sigh. xo

Tasha Tudor Loved Corgi Pups

Tasha Tudor would have loved this cute Corgi pup. Queen Elizabeth loves them too.

Tasha Tudor Estate | Family Feud Still In The Courts

Battling heirs of author/artist Tasha Tudor back in court: "BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) - A family feud over the $2 million estate of famed children's book author Tasha Tudor raged on Friday, with a Probate Court judge warning that barring settlement, the only eventual winners may be the lawyers involved." Such a shame. Read my original post about the Tudor Family Feud.

The first photo is a scan of my very own copy of The Secret Garden illustrated by Tasha Tudor with the original dust jacket.

I love this charming image of hers called Cat in the Mixing Bowl.

Children Fight Over Illustrator Tasha Tudor's Estate

I'm very upset by what I'm reading about the feud over Tasha Tudor's estate. Read more. War of the Tudors: Family Feuds of $2 Million Estate ~ another article. Such greed. The children even fought over their mother's ashes. Things aren't always as they seem.

I had a first edition of the book Bethany is holding that I loaned out and never got back. Now I don't even want it.
