If you really put on your thinking cap, I'm sure you could find a way to add a tiny powder room but it wouldn't be an $800 one! I have friends who spend way more than this on a designer bag but this is just throwing money to the four winds in my opinion. Money spent on home improvements is money well spent. I've seen cute bathrooms in the space under the stairs.<br />xo, RosemaryContent in a Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10075511188721176895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-88564349347687814522017-01-04T21:45:28.912-05:002017-01-04T21:45:28.912-05:00This is the exact floor plan of the house I grew u...This is the exact floor plan of the house I grew up in in Northern Virginia. It was fieldstone, though, not brick. Loved that house...there was also an attic and basement.Annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09390522688788784395noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-30268916141436365412017-01-04T21:39:45.194-05:002017-01-04T21:39:45.194-05:00We stayed in a Sears home in Albany NY over 10 yea...We stayed in a Sears home in Albany NY over 10 years ago. It was so unique and had the most beautiful woodwork and trim! Didn't know until then that Sears had home kits at one time!GrammaGritshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05626901828348845721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-91195223156241018632017-01-04T19:37:16.228-05:002017-01-04T19:37:16.228-05:00So interesting! I so wish they had built one on the main floor. I had the pleasure of meeting the woman that built our home back in 1940, and she told me that they didn't add a first floor bathroom because it would have cost an additional $800. Unfortunate, but I love my home.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04227946725799952552noreply@blogger.com
