Just this past Friday, a customer of mine was telling me about a house made of recycled materials, including frame moulding samples. I was dying to see what he was talking about, and sure enough....there was the ceiling covered in frame corner samples. And I was able to see afterall, all because I came here to visit. :-)
I often feel bad about all those wood samples we throw out, thinking there MUST be something they could be used for...

BTW, I thought the rest of the home was amazing, too.Gal Fridayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00643821953484820115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-84102965388274290312009-10-04T09:23:56.903-04:002009-10-04T09:23:56.903-04:00I read that article a while back and thought it wa...I read that article a while back and thought it was amazing. How fascinating! Mr. Phillips is like a one-man Habitat for Humanity. I loved the entire slide show except that chair back fashioned from cow bones. I don't think I could sit in something like that--although the house numbers from bones was interesting.

Wishing you much good fortune with your fence job.Lady Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13878452243971917072noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7823162730236792476.post-54196398990205534092009-10-03T09:35:04.985-04:002009-10-03T09:35:04.985-04:00What a great person! He is doing something so wonderful for people, but his artistic eye is what makes it stand out.

It sounds like your picket fence project is turning out just fine. I love the look of a solid board at the bottom.

Enjoy your Saturday!Marcyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10798384110256938295noreply@blogger.com
