Second report today. My friends live ...Oh gosh ... Second report today. My friends live in Teaneck NJ and reported unheard of golf ball size acorns that are dropping like bombs. Their yard man says it's definitely a sign of brutal winter. <br /><br />We still have tiny ones .... I like to gather them for decorations, but the squirrels are running like mad with them. All I can find are the tops.<br /><br />Good luck ... This is the first year that they have produced acorns. The squirrels are running around collecting all of them that they can….hmmm could be a harder winter than anticipated.
