Free Sewing Pattern for A Lamb

Aren't these lambs adorable? The only thing you have to stuff is the body. All the other parts are one layer of black felt! You could get started now and have a pile made for valentine's day gifts. You could sew or embroider  a little red heart on the body. These are supposed to be ornaments to hang and the pattern includes two sizes. They would be great for Easter too. My winter storm overnight was snow when I went to bed. Later it turned to rain and wind. Luckily it is MLK Day and there isn't much traffic so people can stay home. My front walk looks like a layer of ice covered with slush. There is no snow on my car so I don't have to clean it off and that makes me happy. I'm staying inside until the warmest part of the day and then I will give the front walk a quick shovel. Be safe. xo

Those of us who can structure our day so that we don't have to go out in the worst of the weather are very fortunate. That also makes it much safer for us and others out and about! We are expecting a heavy snowfall tomorrow (Tuesday). Reports are for 6" to 18". (Take your pick!) Stay warm and safe, Rosemary.

Mama Pea, I did all of my slush shoveling all the way out to the road and it was quick and easy. Let the melting begin. I hope you are spared the 18" snowfall. Yes, we are fortunate that we can pick the times to go out or choose to stay inside all day. Fingers crossed for you hoping you heavy snow is on the light side. xo, Rosemary

Those lambs are adorable. Wish I still had some old white chenille! BTW, Rosemary, remember the post back on Dec 1st when you had a pic of a wall-full (literally) of beautiful old ironstone pieces? We wondered if it was in a home or a shop. Well I just spotted something so similar in an article, "Perfectly Paris: Shops to Love" Feb 7, 2017. I studied both pictures and thought there were similarities in the small pitchers at the left in both shots. The metal crossbars look similar too.

Pam -- Those lambs would be perfect in old white chenille. I looked up your article and YES there are similarities in the ironstone display in this Paris shop.

I will add this link to that post. Thanks so much for finding it. xo, Rosemary
