I appreciate that it isn't full of wreaths, wooden letters spelling out "EAT" or "COZY," or blackboards with clichés scrawled "artfully" in chalk.
Less IS more.

Oh, bless you, francetaste, for your comment and may I just add that the simple vase of flowers is perfectly lovely. In no way can it be misconstrued as a tablescape, a concept from which we should all flee..

Spot on Francetaste! Although....I don't mind a blackboard with scrawl if it's in the right setting. This is not the right setting.

Everything in this room right now stands out and can be appreciated and admire for what it is. Very calming in the simplicity of it all.
