Wide Angle View of My Living Room

I got a new toy today, a clip-on wide angle lens. The main room of my cottage is the entire width of the house. The window in this view look out on the front yard. Behind the green checked sofa, there are two French doors leading out to the balcony and the rear of the property. You can't see my fireplace in this photo but you can see the side bricks.

John Lennon said, "Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted time." That makes me feel better because I wasted a lot of time playing around with different lenses clipped over my iPhone camera.

It's lovely! But, I couldn't live there. Way too much stuff for my minimalist mind. It's a good thing we all get to live different ways, isn't it? And we can enjoy looking at places we wouldn't want to own?

Definitely looks very cozy and comfortable. I admire your furniture placement; it encourages several conversations at one time in the same room. 😊

I saw the top picture first, thinking that was the whole room. I love this picture, too. You've made a long, big room into a cozy one. It makes me think about my own living room in a different way. And there is no wasted time if you are having fun!

I always love photos of your cottage! For real estate photos of our listings we've been using a 22 mm wide angle lens. A great effect without any distortion. Hope your Spring market is blooming...Vermont is a month or so behind the rest of the Northeast!

It's so classic, inviting and just everything that a cottage living room should be. Simply put, "Perfection." I never ever tire of seeing photos of your cottage. I admire your desire to stay on top of the latest technology and your thirst for learning new things. I don't think you wasted any time at all.
