A New Little Pitcher for My Pantry

Today's thrift shop find: Stoneware creamer $3.50
Tiny little chip on rim.

Love the dogs.

Now this little pitcher is hanging out with all the other items with handles in my pantry. The white teapot has a small chip on the underside of the spout. I usually don't buy damaged things but these two were meant to be together.

It's perfectly charming ... A little chip for charm is a good idea.

What a lovely little pitcher - I've seen this Wedgwood foxhunting pattern many times and actually have a similar one that's all white, without the blue. If you'll forgive me, as a horsewoman, I'm compelled to suggest that, rather than referring to them as "dogs", they're hounds! :-)

I want to shop at YOUR thrift store! It's obviously way better than mine. Lucky you...

Leslie -- Thank you. I actually know this but forgot. I have a friend who houses the Spring Valley Hounds in her kennel. They have a hunt on Thanksgiving. There's a bridle path beside my house that used to be very active before the multiflora took over. Two years ago 3 women from The Bridle Path Association came over with big 4-wheel vehicles and chain saws to clear it. They did a fabulous job but it all grew back.
