European Retreat in Denmark

See more of this bathroom in a European Retreat in Denmark here. Use the arrows. I don't think I would have the nerve to turn on the shower with no enclosure.

But how would you ever "step out of the shower?!" Bee-yew-tiful tub!

I've traveled in Denmark and loved every minute of it. All the bathrooms I used (admittedly, I stayed in value priced hotels/hostels) seemed so well designed and environmentally friendly. I saw one in a museum that was so beautiful I took a photo of the toilet stalls. But, the one and only thing I did not like were the showers in the corner of the bathroom with no shower curtain. The water is supposed to run down a drain in the floor, and then you squeegee the water remaining on the floor. Craziness. Such a conundrum in an otherwise very sophisticated, design savvy country. I also found a curtainless shower in Paris. But, the bathroom above is, otherwise, lovely.

What a beautiful bathroom. I agree, I don't think I'd enjoy showering without some kind of enclosure...mostly for the warmth. I've showered in doorless showers and it's chilly in the winter.

It just wouldn't feel cozy! I would hate it!

even if the water drained perfectly!

I prefer a bath to a shower any day...but I would not take a shower in that bathroom at all! Beautiful bathtub! My husband loves his shower and his heated towel rack as much as anything in our house!!!
