It's Snowing As Predicted

We don't have ice yet because it's too warm. Yes, you can have snow even if it's 36° and I'm not at all happy about it for all the travelers going home for Thanksgiving. Mother Nature is showing her bad side once again. Be careful if you have to go out. See you later. xo cardinal on icy branch

Please be careful, Rosemary. Let Mr. Webster set the pace for walks around the property. ;-)

I have a dear friend who suffered a terrible fall recently. She had just finished six months of chemo therapy on Friday. Sunday afternoon she answered the front door. By the time she finished talking with that person, she had to go to the bathroom and dashed down the hallway. Stocking feet, soles of feet compromised by chemo, and hardwood floors---all spelled disaster. Down she went. Hours later she was in surgery having a hip replacement. Now, not only is she recovering from chemo sessions but it will be months of physical therapy to regain mobility. Is she up to it? I honestly don't know. She's been through a lot. A lot.
