I miss having Webster in the Car

Don't worry, he's fine. But he can no longer jump into my car to go for a ride. It's too high off the ground. He can't jump up on my bed either and I actually sleep better because of that. Tabitha doesn't move a muscle all night long when she sleeps on my bed but she gets up much earlier that I would like. Right now, she's fast asleep in the vestibule all curled up on an old wool sweater in her cat bed with her food dish in plain sight. The rain arrived right on schedule and we are all enjoying a rainy day. Enjoy yours too. xo via

Sweet Webster. I remember when this happened with each of our larger dogs.

Webster needs a step stool! He's a sweet boy.

So sad for Mr. Webster. I remember he loved to "go for a ride"...I think it was to the post office and other errands with you when the weather was cool enough.

Oh Rosemary ... What a precious photo. I love his little face in the side mirror. I know how sad it can be when your driving buddy can't go along anymore.

He is so sweet ... Give him a kiss for me.

I've only taken Buster on a ride once. I'd take him more... but he doesn't want to listen lately. :/
I think I'm going to have to take him on one ride soon... for his little vet visit. He's not quite 2 yet but he is starting to run now... seriously, have to get that fixed.
I bet Webster misses going with you.

Hi Everyone...Webster has no problem with going up and down stairs. He just doesn't trust himself to jump up high anymore because he often missed and ended up falling. I don't encourage him to even try. He doesn't seem to mind this new stage in his life. He has plenty of doors and windows with glass down low so he can still see out with no jumping.

Webster is very sensible fellow as we all must be as we age.

Queen Vee........beautifully stated. However, Rosemary, if you ever did want to take Webster for a special ride, they have small wide portable ramps that will allow him to get into the car easily. Angela Muller
