Happy Last Day of Summer

A lovely late summer scene in Budapest Hungary. via Are you excited about the first full day of Fall tomorrow? The Virginia creeper is turning red and I'm starting to see color in the maple trees. Fall is right on schedule. xo

I love all the warm Autumn colors but dread the thought of cold, dark and dreary winter months.

Hello,
Looking at your posts is a nightly ritual with me. So enjoy your pics, sense of humor, design and words of wisdom. Could you list the APP you used to make photos into paintings? Somehow when I changed phones, I lost it and can no longer remember its exact name. Mary Hyde

The watercolor app is called WATERLOGUE

I'm very anxious to see the new iPhone 6 even though I am not due for an upgrade for another year. I'll get the 6S when it comes out.

I don't look forward to darkness before 5pm either. But I do love evening time and winter.Once again, there is a lot of good TV to watch and I always have a movie recorded.

Rosemary ... I feel the same. First, the nighttime is magic for me. (Like a vampire, I guess). Also, I'm going to try not to say anything bad about winter again, after this summer .... Which I'm told wasn't that bad.

I seriously hope I figure out someplace to go for next summer ... A closet in Maine is my dream.

Cheers ... Love your posts. Just love them.

What a beautiful photo. Last week I had to drive to Ohio and as I drove on the PA turnpike I noticed a few trees had started to turn. Fall was definitely in the air during my stay Rocky River. On my drive home 6 days later I was really surprised to see how far along the fall foliage had progressed. I adore this time of year with the crisp air, stands of pumpkins, the harvested fields and of course the color.
