Happy Friday

This is a photo of my healthy breakfast this morning. I toasted two slices of my nut and seed bread in my panini press. It's way too small for my toaster. I did a 10 minute egg for a solid yoke...I don't like runny ones. I bought 4 avocado several days ago and one felt ripe and it was. I left the seed in the other half and brushed the flesh with lemon juice and put it in a covered container. I hope that will keep it from turning black before lunch. My first meal of the day was very satisfying and I'm excited about eating better even though I already do. So let's say I'll be eating better than ever.

It's a gray day and it's cold so the Wonder Dog is waiting patiently for me to get my act together for our first long walk of the day which is upcoming shortly. See you later. xo

I love a good boiled egg, I love avocado and I'm sure I would love your nutty bread. Oh, and I also love this photo.

Thanks, Victoria. I love a good boiled egg too. This one was easy to peel and that made me happy. I had the other half of the avocado for lunch with hummus. Have a great weekend. xo, Rosemary

Hello,
I wrote this before but for some reason did not appear.
Wanted to thank you for all your work showing us so many interesting things and the precious animals.

If you are saving half of the avocado in a container just add water to cover and it will not brown.

Your breakfast looks Yummy. Have you tried Trader Joe's 21 Seasoning Salute Blend? I highly recommend, is wonderful on eggs and so many other things. Let me know...

I have a vacuum sealer and use that to keep the other half of my avocado in good shape. Couldn't live without that sealer--it's a treasure when you're cooking for two.
The breakfast looks terrific--nice and bright and healthy.

darrdarr...Thanks for the tip. I'll try your water trick with my next avocado. Glad you like the things I post on my blog.

It looks like you are on the "Stacey Diet", sans the cake (which I can not live without!). xo
