The Year of the Horse

The bookcase and horse painting are mine.
I didn't realize I was born in the year of the horse. Were you? Check here. I haven't finished reading the fascinating article....scroll down for the chart to find out your animal sign.
Here is the Waterlogue App watercolor version of the above photo. I am still loving this amazing app for my iPhone. Did you download it yet? Have a great weekend.

Your horse picture is lovely.

This year the Chinese year actually begins on January 31st, and it will be referred to as the Year of the Horse. According to actual Chinese calendar, the new year begins on a specific date, usually late January to early February. What happens if you were born on January 22nd, which would make you born in the year of a Snake? Would one refer to themselves as a horse? or a snake? This was the situation for my birth year, and I've always thought the Snake description fit me better than that of the Horse. :-)

JudyMac....My birthday is in September so I am really a horse. Horses can sleep on their feet and are unusually grounded. I've always known I was grounded but didn't know why, until now.
It's all very fascinating, isn't it?

Oh dear, I'm a PIG….what? This is what it says about me, "Stop being such a control freak! You don’t need to plan every last detail."

Hmmm, I do like to be in charge but I'm not a micro manager, LOL…except of my hubby.

Yes I downloaded the Waterlogue app and I'm having a lot of fun with it.

I would rather be a Dragon or a Tiger not liking the Pig thing at all.
