An Apple A Day

This looks like a good one, doesn't it? It's ripening on the tree in England. via

We had a dusting of snow this morning and it's a very gray day.

Guess who doesn't care?

"Winter" settled in upon us here over the early morning hours . . . no snow but the wind is practicing a fierce howl. I believe it's Mother Nature's reminder for us not be be complacent about making preparations for colder weather.
Snuggle up with Webster . . . he looks so happy and toasty warm.

I'll bet he's had his early morning bathroom break and oatmeal breakfast, and is now ready for his morning snooze...a spotted cow to keep him company while listening to you scurry about.

He's holding onto that spotted cow for dear life almost like he's afraid you might want to take it and do something drastic to it, like wash it. It's endearing to know that he loves his comfort toy and I can see why, it makes a great pillow.

Our animals love the sunshine for its warmth. My most recent past Dachshund used to nap from east to west, across the house, so she could follow the sunbeams!
