Doc Martin, Season 6

Look what landed in my mailbox today from Acorn. They wanted me to know they would be shipping Season 6 on January 6th. The cover of the DVD is perfect, isn't it? For those of you who need to catch up, here's a link for DOC MARTIN, Seasons 1-5 you can watch free. It worked for me when I first discovered this wonderful PBS series and I hope it works for you. Enjoy. I can't wait to see the wedding!!!

I didn't realize that there was going to be a season 6!! You have just made me one of the happiest women on the planet. I love this show, and I was so sad to think that I had to say goodbye to these charming characters.

She is the perfect glowing bride with a huge smile on her face. He looks like he's on his way to the gallows.

Rosemary, thanks for the update! Do you know when Season 6 is due to air on PBS?

itztru....I have no idea. When I find out, I'll do another post. I will wait for it to air on PBS instead of buying the DVD.

We just today joined Acorn on You Tube, and can now stream season 6, along with a lot of other great British stuff that isn't available on Netflix, like seasons 2 and 3 of Vera, a great mystery show starring Brenda Blethyn.

Hello, I too love Doc Martin. I have a friend who downloads the episodes off an international website and saves them on a disk for us to watch each week, the day after they air in Europe. So I have seen, I think 4 or 5 of them already. When I saw your post, I was going to mail them to you but see you are already getting them in January. If you don't want to wait until then, let me know and I will share them with you. Another series I hope they have another season is Bletchley Circle. Worth seeing if you haven't seen it yet. Love your blog-Paula-Windmill Farm in California

I love Doc Martin. I have my family hooked. At first they were reluctant and now they can't get enough. Lucky you for having Season 6.

Thank you, Rosemary! I've been sad at the loss of this wonderful community and am thrilled to learn we'll continue to enjoy them. I love your blog and read it nightly.
