My Bathroom Window

I took this photo with my Nikon yesterday morning while the sun was shining on the top of the radiator and a gentle breeze was blowing behind the curtains. Hopefully the rain we have been having to make this the wettest June on record is behind us. I see bright sun for 5 consecutive days on my iPhone's weather app. Let's hope it's right because we really need to dry out!!!

Oh my! I'm on the East Coast (New Brunswick) and we're having the very same weather. I, too, hope this sunny stretch will make things right again. It's been on the chilly side as well!

My Hubs introduced me to your blog. It's wonderful!

I love those curtains too. I have matching long draperies to the floor in the guest room that's across the hall from the bathroom. I bought some custom handmade draperies at an estate sale and remade them to fit my windows. I was lucky I had enough left over for the bathroom. I love the lily of the valley fabric. I'm sure it was very expensive off the bolt.

I love radiators. Steam heat is the best, plus my cats loved sleeping on top of the radiators--they had slabs of marble on top.

Sigh, I miss the 1904 craftsman bungalow my dh and I rented when we lived in Chicago.

I like my brand new townhouse, but dh and I have a love for old cottages. Retiring to a cottage at the beach would be my dream.

love your posts! If I were a witch I would send myself to your cottage and never leave. It is just what I have wanted since I was a little kid. And you give me ideas for my own place. But I cannot follow up on that inspiration because I am a caregiver for a messy child. Anyway, I enjoy the escape from reality.
