True Love

Don't these two pups look comfy curled into a perfect heart in the back seat of a car? I went back to bed after the cat got me up this morning and I think I might live. I worked outside all day mowing, pulling vines out of trees, trying to tidy up my visual corridor without the aid of power tools, etc. I have rolled giant logs out of sight, rearranged the huge ones so the wild roses will eventually hide them and I have to say I have enjoyed doing some hard physical work. We are having a very dry April, the third driest on record. Rain is on the forecast for tomorrow so I'll work outside again today getting ready. I still need to mow the front. See you later. image

I spent a good amount of time yesterday pulling out invasive vines with a simple spade and hand saw. It worked! It gave me a workout, too, and it's fun to see we were doing the same thing this weekend! Now is the time to do it! You can actually SEE where everything is without the leaves! Happy spring, Rosemary!

Helene...I can't work when it gets too hot. Now is the time for me to do everything possible before the heat of summer sets in. It is actually fun now but later it will seem like work.
We are definitely on the same wave length.
xo, Rosemary

Wish you had some of our rain. It has rained here all day and is still raining. It is suppose to rain tomorrow and later in the week, also. I think we are out of the drought now!!
