Snow on the Rooftops

Snow on a mansion.

Snow in a village.

We still have snow on the ground and today is supposed to feel very cold because of the wind chill factor. My house is cozy and the coffee is hot. Life is good! via

You know, we have just as much snow here in Seoul, but it doesn't look nearly as charming! Wish I could be there instead of in the middle of the city!

I'm sure Mr. Webster will win you over for a walk but other than that, stay inside where it's warm and safe, with no possibility of slipping on thin ice. Don't need no broken bones.

It's funny. This time of year we take our dogs for rides while we do our errands--the post office, the market, the hardware store, the library, etc. All the time, they either nap or people watch, enjoying every minute. Then summertime comes and they don't understand why they can't go! Always wished I could explain.

Beautiful images! That second one is Arlington Row in the Cotswold village of Bibury. I have driven past dozens of times and in all weather, but have never seen it quite that beautiful.
