Snow on My Sundial

This is just outside my front door. It is rather protected from the wind here so this is the best representation of the snow we got overnight and all day yesterday. We were in the area that was supposed to get between 6 and 12 inches. I think we got less than a foot. Hooray.
I was awakened at 5am to an unknown noise that might have been a falling tree but it was just my snowplow man scraping my driveway. The worst is over and there are patches of blue in the sky.
People in Connecticut and Long Island got 30+ inches. Mother Nature has been somewhat kind to my area and I am thankful.

Here is my sundial earlier this year with melted snow on top.

Stay warm and take it easy if you have to shovel snow. xo

Dear Rosemary, when I didn't see a posting from you at an earlier time than this and most typical for you, a true early bird, I thought, "Oh, no! Rosemary is without power." I am so happy you have been spared from the full force of Nemo and that your driveway already has been cleared.
Be warm.

Linda...I still have to clean off my car which will not be an easy task. I will shovel the walk in small portions to save my back...it is a heavy snow. The sun is out and it's beautiful. I live on a county road that is always plowed so the actual street is black. Tabitha and Webster have been out alone and I'm still in my pajamas at 9:20. I am treating myself to a lazy morning.
Thanks for checking on me.

Happy to hear you're treating yourself to a lazy morning. If you don't have to leave your house, why risk a fall? You were a wise lady to lay in a store of supplies...now enjoy your cozy cottage and hibernation.
