Sign of The Day

I would definitely have to go inside for another cup of coffee, wouldn't you? Sometimes you need a pat on the back for just getting out of bed and coffee is the ultimate reward.

Perfect Monday morning post - thanks Rosemary!

Getting out of bed this morning was a real challenge. Normally this isn't a problem because I enjoy the quiet time on the computer before my husband gets up. But this morning I have a "code-in-my-node", sneezing, coughing, and my ears are plugged. I may just go back to bed...after I do the dishes I didn't do last night when I crashed on the couch after "Downtown Abbey". ;-)

Have a good day, Rosemary.

Gail....

I made this home remedy using Bragg's unfiltered apple cider vinegar, honey, cayenne, ginger and water. I take two big spoonfuls morning and night and I have not gotten sick this year or last.
Try it and feel better:

Downton Abbey caught me off guard again last night. So sad.

Thank you, Rosemary. I made a copy. I have a favorite health food store. I'm sure they'll have everything I need. http://www.mariposamarket.com

Regarding Downtown Abbey...Next to Lady Violet and Lord Grantham, Sybil was a favorite character and I was sorry to see her go. She was the only one to stand up to her father. And my oh my, could she wear clothes from that period. Lord Grantham's snobbery has cost him his daughter's life and his wife's affection. I still love him dearly; all his married life he's been surrounded by four strong-willed women. Poor dear. And, as his wife pushes him away, enter the new maid. She'd better be ugly.

I couldn't understand Lady Mary lashing out at Matthew either. Well, I guess I could when I stop to think she's just lost her sister but it was she who kept telling Matthew that Downton must be saved, no matter what. And given the cost of attorney fees and the distance he had traveled, wouldn't you be tempted to take him aside for a private consultation. And that's what it supposed to be---private.

Julian Fellowes has certainly been given free rein.
