Mitten Cookie

A friend sneaked by my house just now without detection to leave a mitten cookie for me. Isn't it wonderful? It makes me happy just looking at it. Now that I have a picture, maybe I'll eat it later.

I simply must know all about this cookie: once you dare to eat it, do tell us about the flavor; is it piped around the edges or is that a filling I spy between two cookies; is the cuff icing with a fabulously dear sprinkle which looks almost like the tiniest marshmallows ever.
What a delightful surprise drop-off treat. Such fun.
I'll be you might have an inkling as to who that elf might be.
May your day continue with many pleasantries.

Clever and darling and could be made at home with lots of possibilities. Is it the size of a real mitten?
