Christmas with Kelly

My friend Kelly has invited me to have Christmas dinner at her house practically every year since 2004. My mother stopped going a few years back and I ate my first big meal with her in the early afternoon. We usually dined on Cornish hens and all the trimmings. Last year we had the works here at the cottage because Kelly and her family spent Christmas in Florida and left Piggie with us. Yes, she's Piggie's mom. I had a wonderful time and it was especially meaningful this year. It took the sadness out of my first holiday without Anna.

It's so very nice to meet your dear friend and Piggy's mom and to learn of the traditions you have formed over the years.
Thank you for this.

Oh, so lovely to see Piggy's mum. I hope we are fortunate to see a photo of his dear self very soon.

So glad that you spent Christmas dinner in wonderful company.
I'm sure beautiful Anna was close by too ♥

I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed Christmas dinner with a dear friend with your "best friend" gone. That dear friend being Piggie's mom, a real bonus in my eyes.

Hope this makes sense...Best thing in the world for you, --making memories with those who share your memories because they understand your loss.

So glad your Christmas was a lovely one Rosemary, surrounded by special people. How about considering a hot Aussie Christmas next year? We are only 3 plane rides away totalling approx. 23 hrs flying time, but please don't let that deter you. If you could stand the noise & heat we'd love to have you. I'd even get Son #4 the Practical Joker to tone things down a bit for our honoured guest!

Millie,

I am truly touched by your sweet gesture to open your home to me at Christmas.

Thank you for thinking of me!

Wishing you a happy and healthy new year.

Oh Rosemary, I think you should take Millie up on her offer, and no toning down son #4....think of the fun.

I've been on a weeks long technology break and am now trying to catch up with friends, news and happenings.

What a Christmas treat to see you with your darling friend Kelly. To have such a great friend means you are a great friend too....but then I knew that already.

You both look fabulous; Rosemary all the hula hooping has paid off....I can see it.

Thanks Kelly for taking care of our Rosemary, I'm delighted to meet Piggie's mom and Rosemary's good friend.
