Best Fireplace Ever

Put me in that leather chair and let me toast myself in front of that wonderful fireplace! I would move the chess board so I could put my feet on the ottoman. I do love this room in a 15th century gatehouse in the Dordogne region of France. Tour here.

Wow - is there room on the sofa for me? That looks so warm and cozy, and I love the mix of different stones on the fireplace. Hope you have a happy new year. It's a quiet evening at home for me.

I have the leather chair and I'm all set to settle now to read....wild New Year's Eve.....but no fireplace. I've become so allergic to natural fires I can't have them anymore. I hate to admit I now have a cute little electric red fireplace stove. ...space heater. I know it sounds so tacky but its cute, toasty and I don't get a sore throat.

Happy New Year Rosemary.

This has nothing whatsoever to do with that incredible fireplace...

No, what I wanted to tell you is that I think of you and your newly-acquired microwave and the wonderful notion you had of microwaving a yam or sweet potato for lunch. Five to eight minutes, a little salt and pepper, and lunch is ready. Vitamin A galore and very filling. Thank you, Rosemary.

Warm Regards - Emma
