Still Snowing -- Hard!

I'm glad I got out early and got home safe and sound. It's really coming down hard now and accumulating. This was NOT supposed to happen like this. It was supposed to be light and stop. What a winter! I just took this photo with my Nikon with the telephoto lens looking to the very rear of my property. It's beautiful though. Mother had a good checkup.
This is a color photo. I did not convert it to black and white. There was no color out there. Just gray and black and white.

Wow! It is pretty though. Being from the south, I don't get to see the white stuff much.

That's great news about your mother!

relief about anna. now she can begin to mend. she'll know she's getting better and that takes the fear away and helps mentally.

We got rain and you got a winter wonderland. Yeah I know, all that winter beauty comes with a price, you have to drive in it.

I agree with Tami about your safe trip and good checkup for Anna. Praying that she will continue to improve and wishing you, Anna and those faithful animals another good nights sleep. Good sleep means good health for all.

The photo is....just beautiful.

Your photograph should be framed..it is that pretty. No snow in Ohio today. Started hanging garland outside. Glad your mom's appointment was positive. Take care, Sara

So happy for the good check-up! The snow seems early. Then again, it's almost Christmas!!! How can that be?

Beautiful, and hope everyone is cozy and ready for snow. Does Webster frolic in the snow like our Golden Retriever Daisy? Hope you have peace of mind, and a good sleep for everyone in your cozy cottage.

Best wishes for your mother. Aging parents are a blessing and a worry. I can tell by your comments your mother is lucky to have such a devoted daughter.
LOVE your blog.

Beautiful picture you shared with us. Lovely, lovely snow--if you don't have to work in it, and if it doesn't affect your income, as it does those of us in construction related businesses. I do hope Nashville gets some this year as we missed out on almost any last winter. I hope you and your mother both have another good night's sleep tonight!

Wow, what a beautiful photograph...that is really interesting that the photo isn't in black and white. Stay warm.

Not that we need snow in my area, but we would be thankful for anything moist. Yesterday's "rain" hardly dampened the grass. So very, very dry here, and again nothing in the forecast for the next 10 days.

Glad to hear that Mom got a good check-up. A good night's sleep does wonders for everyone!

Wow, that photo was awesome, I can't believe it wasn't taken in black and white. And you are such a great daughter, I am sure your mother appreciates everything that you do for her.

This is my very favourite of all your photos Rosemary! We are sweltering here on the last day of Spring, bare feet & bare arms are the order of the day, even at work. It is so good to not be carting firewood inside & all that jazz.
