It looks like a beautiful spot. What a nice lookout the dog has from up high :)

Karen...It truly is a heart-melting image. Animals know how to overcome their difference in such beautiful ways. xo, Rosemary

just exactly what you said to karen...
and we seem to see it more and more all the time... totally different species raising and loving one another... or just befriending each other. we humans
could learn a thing or two.
hugs,

Tammy...
The animals seem to be blind to the physical differences and just embrace the love and fun of a new friendship. Yes, we can learn from these animals.

I just discovered your blog. Lovely. I believe the photograph you posted was taken by Bruce Weber (a gifted artist, genius and all around excellent human being) and that is his dog, True, on top of the elephant. It was taken out on Long Island - near Montauk.

Thank you for the photographer information. What was an elephant doing in Montauk? I want to know more about this dog and the photographer. Now I have names :)

That is an amazing photograph.
