A Chest with Many Drawers

Here is another great chest with lots of drawers. I'm beginning to think every home needs one based on the response I got from a multi-drawer chest I featured recently. Do you prefer drawers or cubbies?
Have a great weekend. We had rain all night but it stopped before I got up this morning. It is cooler too. See you later.

Wow-I love everything about that space. Beautiful.
I'm a drawer type person. Cubbies have to be kept so neat.....
;)

Sue....

I would love a chest like that with one row of cubbies on top for displaying special collections. I know what you mean about having too many,

I sure appreciate your visit to my place. House 4 of 4 - once I blog it - isn't like the others.

At first I thought that was a small set of apothecary drawers on a desk or something. But then I noticed the boots and realized these are BIG drawers on the floor of an entryway! I would LOVE these because I have a lot of kids and this would solve many problems!

It's perfect for any entry way....lots of kids or not. I have so many hats and gloves and mittens and scarves. But it's too big for my vestibule so you may have it for your clan. :)

Oh Rosemary, you are so kind to leave it for me and my clan but I, too, will have to pass. I don't even HAVE an entryway! When you open the front door to my cottage BAM you're in the living room! But it sure is nice to dream about....thanks for posting such fun and dreamy items all the time. That's why I come here. Keeps me thinking positively!

Helene...

Since you can't use it, I'm passing it on to Henhurst Interiors for her mudroom.

Rosemary,
Send some of that rain on down to the sunny south. We need it :)

CUBBIES WORK FOR me!

Our cubbies are behind doors; and I am going to blog about them! My husband keeps them perfectly (in cahoots with the housekeeper); and drawers for a visual person do not work!

Just my opinion!

Penelope! Fabulous blog! I learn something every single post!!

Oh Lordy, just got home to find a pic of another gorgeous piece that would suit a (my) studio so perfectly :)

I do like drawers. Especially the cute little square ones in old apothecary cupboards. Although, they're not as practical as the lovely deep drawers here. I could store ALOT of art supplies in this one :)

These pieces are hard to get over here. And when one finds old furniture like this, it costs an arm and a leg sadly.

One can but dream.

Vicki...

That one would be very nice for art supplies. They are very desirable and equally hard to find. Keep looking!

Penelope,

I can't wait to see your cubbies. I know they will be filled with charming things.

Enjoy this beautiful Sunday.

I wish I could send some rain your way. The day cleared off beautifully yesterday in time for a lovely wedding I attended in the afternoon.
